Fertility Counselling
Fertility counselling is for anyone struggling with fertility related concerns. It is a safe space in which to discuss the unique challenges that are faced by women and couples who are trying to become parents. Fertility counselling will be there to support you through fertility investigations, fertility treatments and beyond. I am a specialist fertility counsellor with many years of experience working with clients who are experiencing fertility struggles. I have undergone specialist training in this area and am a member of the Irish Fertility Counsellors Association (IFCA).

Implications Counselling
If you have donor egg, sperm or embryo treatment through Irish Fertility Clinic it is mandatory to have a session of implications counselling.
This session covers legal, ethical, and practical considerations to consider prior to embarking on donor treatment.
As part of the service, I provide a letter for your fertility clinic confirming that you have attended for implications counselling.
This consultation generally takes about an hour. The fee for an implications counselling session, to include follow up letter, is €80.

Pregnancy Counselling
Pregnancy can be a time of great joy. It can also be a time of great anxiety, particularly for people who have previously experienced infertility and/or previous pregnancy loss. Pregnancy counselling offers a save space for clients to discuss their fears and be supported in their pregnancy journey.

Loss and Bereavement Counselling
Pregnancy and perinatal loss is one of the most devastating experiences someone can go through. It is estimated that about 1 in 4 pregnancies end in miscarriage but it is for the most part a very hidden loss. Society has not built up rituals around pregnancy loss and so grieving parents often struggle to get the support they need from their community. Bereavement counselling can offer a save space in which to discuss grief and a framework to help navigate the grief journey. I hold an MSc in Loss and Bereavement from the Royal College of Surgeons and my thesis research related specifically to perinatal grief.
